In the second quarter of 2025, the travel and local app market in Israel showcased varied performance trends across the top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

eSIMo: Travel eSIM & Calls saw a fluctuating download pattern. Starting at around 10.5K downloads at the beginning of April, the numbers dipped to approximately 977 by mid-June, before recovering to 7.1K by the end of the quarter.

Airalo: eSIM Travel & Internet experienced an initial spike in downloads, peaking at 11.1K in early April. However, there was a notable decrease to 1.6K by mid-June, followed by a rebound to 10.4K. Active users for Airalo started at 58K, growing to a peak of 83.8K by late April, then gradually declining to 44.8K by the end of June.

EL AL Flights maintained a stable download trend, with numbers hovering between 5.5K and 7.3K throughout the quarter. Active users remained strong, starting at 55.5K and reaching a high of 89.2K in late May, before ending the quarter at 77.5K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a consistent download pattern with a slight dip in mid-June at 4.6K, but recovered to 9.7K by the end of June. The app's active user base fluctuated significantly, peaking at 479.8K in late May, and settling at 414.7K at quarter's end.

GoTo Shared Mobility experienced modest download numbers, ranging from 1.5K to 2.9K. Active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, beginning at 1.5K and rising to 1.7K by late June.
